Acknowledgements

Charlie Fox has been at its final resting place at the old Liverpool Speke aerodrome undergoing restoration since 2007. During this time many local and national companies as well as individuals have helped our restoration efforts through volunteering, sponsorship or donations of goods, services and funds.

We would like to acknowledge the following companies and individuals for all their help since 2007. We would also like to thank and acknowledge all those who have helped the Britannia Aircraft Preservation Trust in its preservation and restoration of Charlie Fox since its salvage from the RAF Manston fire dump in 1984 including all those who have donated in our collection boxes and for whom we do not have a name. All help in whatever form will always be greatly appreciated as it really does make a difference to our project.

Volunteers

Most of our volunteers including the trustees carry out hands-on work on the aircraft as well as administrative work. Some volunteers live too far from Liverpool and therefore cannot be on site for restoration work. However, they undertake very important administrative work such as running our website, fundraising activities etc. Most of the volunteers have also contributed funds or goods in addition to their time, which is fantastic.
